Glenn J. Smith has built his career on integrity, service, and making a positive impact for his clients and community. For more than 25 years, he has distinguished himself as a seasoned trial attorney through tenacious and successful advocacy in civil, commercial, and consumer matters across Pennsylvania and Maryland.

As a fellow entrepreneur, Glenn is well-regarded for helping start-ups and established businesses grow with creative strategies that align with their goals. His honest, straightforward approach and ability to think outside the box sets him apart from others in the field.

Glenn’s legal expertise has been recognized at every level of government. He has served as York County’s chief legal advisor and general counsel, an Assistant District Attorney, a Special Assistant United States Attorney, and Solicitor for multiple municipalities, authorities, and local officials. He has also represented mayors statewide as Solicitor for the Pennsylvania State Mayor’s Association.

Deeply committed to York’s revitalization, Glenn has volunteered countless hours to support small businesses and community development. His leadership earned his former firm the Downtown First Awards Large Business of the Year in 2014, followed by his own recognition as Individual of the Year in 2015. That same year, he was also named a Select Lawyer by Susquehanna Style magazine.

Glenn’s civic contributions are equally noteworthy. He serves on the York County Bar Association Board of Directors, where he is Chair Elect, and is the current President of Explore York! (formerly the York County Convention & Visitors Bureau). He has also held leadership roles with the York County Economic Alliance and the Rotary Club of York, and in 2018 was nominated for Appointed Official of the Year.

Outside of his professional life, Glenn is active with the Roses Rugby Football Club, the Wild Rovers, and the Cardinals Old Boys Sides. He and his wife—his “better half”—enjoy raising their son and daughter, traveling, and living life to the fullest.
