STAY AT HOME ORDER
March 27, 2020: Governor Wolf and the Department of Health have issued amendments to their previously issued Stay At Home Orders to now include York County. Therefore, effective 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2020 through Sunday, April 5, 2020, all individuals in York County must stay at home except for certain essential activities and work to provide life-sustaining business and government services.
Guidance has been provided by the Governor's Office at: https://www.governor.pa.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/03.23.20-Stay-At-Home-Order-Guidance.pdf
Essentially, individuals must remain home except for medical purposes, obtaining household supplies or supplies necessary to work from home, or performing work at an identified life-sustaining business. Businesses that have not been identified as a life-sustaining business can request a waiver from the DCED. Contact Glenn J. Smith at 717-843-1639 or Glenn@MarcRobertsLaw.com for assistance in the waiver process.
It is important to note that individuals are permitted to engage in outdoor activities, such as walking, hiking or running as long as social distancing is maintained.
