Sandra is a mother and grandmother who has served the community for years, holding many board positions, including as a former board member of the York County Bar Association. Sandra advocates to educate and empower the community through many community organizations including York NAACP. Sandra has over 25 years’ experience in the judicial system. She worked as an Adult Probation Officer for women offenders, a case-manager for delinquent and dependent youth, a certified legal intern, an attorney with Central Pennsylvania Legal Services (now Mid-Penn Legal Services), an Assistant Public Defender, an Assistant District Attorney, and as a private attorney in her own small business, The Law Office of Sandra Thompson, LLC, since 2003.
